School work.
Prompt was "a cartoon on life and conflicts of old and new musical instruments" and we were free to think of whatever characters fit the bill. What I ended up with were:
- an old authoritarian war drum veteran (smart, but stuck in his glorious past);
- a djembe drum tourist (equal parts excited and clueless about the things he encounters);
- a violin that's a prim-and-proper frail old lady (until someone dares disagree with her; then she's as shrill as violins can be);
- and a young rebellious electric violin (with a heart of gold underneath all of her black makeup).
